📝 Description du poste
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Warehouse Supervisor to manage storekeeping, inventory control, and logistics operations at our power plant site in Kaolack, Senegal. The role ensures timely availability of spare parts, tools and materials for plant operations, maintains accurate inventory records and coordinates logistics to support maintenance schedules and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will optimise warehouse processes, ensure safety compliance and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
🎯 Missions principales
- Receive incoming goods, verify damages and discrepancies with purchase orders and invoices.
- Sort, label and store goods efficiently to optimise warehouse space.
- Pack, label and dispatch outgoing goods with appropriate documentation.
- Maintain and update inventory records in SAP and Maximo in coordination with maintenance planners.
- Perform physical inventory checks and reconcile stock discrepancies.
- Manage calibrated tools inventory and ensure certifications are up‑to‑date.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery according to EHS instructions.
- Keep the warehouse area clean and organised following 5S principles.
- Assist in stock‑taking audits and handle dangerous goods according to MSDS guidelines.
👤 Profil recherché
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or logistics.
- Knowledge of SAP and Maximo inventory systems.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Strong organisational, communication and safety‑orientation skills.
